Today in our nation's capital, people from all walks of life have come together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech and the March on Washington. The Covenant of the Goddess joins in that celebration to honor one of the most pivotal moments in our country's history. Martin Luther King's words and his life have made an indelible imprint on our nation's spirit. And, the meaning of that historical speech has personally impacted each of us in different ways and at different levels.
In honoring that moment in time, we remember the magnitude of the message delivered. As Martin Luther King said, "Let Freedom Ring" for today and forever.
