Over the past few days, the media have reported that the deaths of three family members in Pensacola, Florida were the result of a Wiccan or Witchcraft ritual killing and tied to a “blue moon.”

There has never been a time when ritual killings had a place in Wiccan ceremonies.  Wicca is centered on celebration of the lunar cycles and the passing seasons of the year.  Our religion recognizes all life as sacred, and murder has no part in Wiccan practice.
