  1. Thanks Greg for posting this lucid and meaningful interview. It is important that we remain clear and articulate in our striving to keep religion and state separate. It is also important that we continue to clarify to the general public who we are as Wiccans and Pagans rather than being defined by those with only their fear and fantasy to guide them.
I was just interviewed in my capacity as First Officer of Covenant Of The Goddess, to refute the way in which Wicca and Witchcraft was presented in the 1999 clip of Christine O'Donnell on the Bill Maher show. She is the GOP candidate for Senator in the state of Deleware and Tea Party member. It is clear from her inarticulate commentary that she was never a Wiccan nor did she know any real Wiccans, but only some teenage IRAB's ("I read a book" - in this case teenagers who probably read several books and watched sensationalist movies and garbled the info) with a more gothic bent than Wiccan knowledge. I was interviewed by phone this morning by Sara Netter of ABC news. They appeared to be wanting to clarify for the general public what Wicca really is and what it believes.
