Yuletide with CoG #5: Candy Cookies

(Grandma Kinney’s recipe)

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup butter

3 tablespoons cocoa

Boil the above ingredients for 1 minute and remove from heat and add the following ingredients.

3 cups quick oats

3/4 cup nuts

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper and let cool.
